Oil seal oil leakage treatment method

First of all, the oil seal material is improved, from the original cast low carbon steel to medium carbon steel, so that the density of raw materials increases, and then after heat treatment, the oil seal body reaches the best use state after heat treatment. The tensile strength of the steel is greater than 600MPa, and the yield strength is also greater than 355MPa. The elongation and shrinkage were more than 16% and 40%, respectively. Material improvement alone is not enough to solve the problem of oil seal leakage, but also work on the process.
 
In the manufacturing process, the half section surface is ground on the grinder. In order to make the sealing surface closer, predecessors are equipped with O-ring in the sealing groove of the end sealing surface car.
According to the working environment of the oil seal, the 3026 phenolic laminate composite insulation material with high load and wear resistance was customized, and the oil return hole was redesigned to control the gap between 0.52mm and 0.6mm.
 
Finally, there are plans to change the holding force of the spring in the oil seal. Due to the large amount of oil between the bearing bush and the oil seal, an oil retaining ring was added in the front end of the oil seal during the transformation, and the gap between the shaft and the shaft was controlled between 0.8-0.95mm. The toothed structure was selected, so that it could be blocked by 80% of the oil in operation. During installation, apply liquid sealant to the sealing surface, and install dustproof seal externally. After the above modification, the leakage prevention effect is remarkable.
