How to install taper bearing?

Adjustment of axial clearance For the installation of tapered roller bearings, the axial clearance can be adjusted by the adjusting nut on the journal, the thread in the hole of the adjusting gasket and the bearing seat, or by a preloaded spring. The size of axial clearance is related to the arrangement of bearing installation, the distance between bearings, and the material of shaft and bearing seat, which can be determined according to the working conditions.
For tapered roller bearings with high load and high speed, the influence of temperature rise on axial clearance must be taken into account when adjusting clearance, and the amount of clearance reduction caused by temperature rise must be estimated, that is to say, axial clearance should be adjusted appropriately.
For bearings with low speed and vibration, no clearance installation should be adopted, or pre-load installation should be applied. Its purpose is to make the roller and raceway of tapered roller bearing have good contact, the load is evenly distributed, and prevent the roller and raceway from being damaged by vibration impact. After adjustment, the size of axial clearance is checked by a micrometer.
Installation of four row tapered roller bearings (installation roller bearings) :
The coordination between the inner ring of the first and fourth row tapered roller bearing and the roller neck is generally with clearance. When installing, the bearing is first loaded into the bearing box, and then the bearing box is loaded into the journal.
Second and fourth row tapered roller bearing outer ring and bearing box hole also adopts dynamic fit, first put the outer ring A into the bearing box. When leaving the factory, {HotTag} characters are printed on the outer ring, inner ring and inner and outer septum rings. When installing, they must be loaded into the bearing box in the sequence of character symbols. Not interchangeable to prevent the change of bearing clearance.
3. After all the parts are loaded into the bearing box, the inner ring and the inner septum ring, and the outer ring and the outer septum ring are axially close together.
4. Measure the width of the gap between the end face of the outer ring and the cover plate of the bearing box to determine the thickness of the corresponding sealing gasket.
