Rubix has announced the acquisition of Kugellager Leitner GmbH, a specialist power transmission distributor based in Amstetten, in the heart of Austria’s industrial region near Linz. The move forms part of Rubix’s ongoing network development strategy and strengthens its ability to serve customers, both national players and larger international businesses with operations in the country.

A Well-Established Business with Deep Regional Roots

Founded in the 1960s, Kugellager Leitner has built a strong reputation over more than six decades as a trusted distributor of power transmission and bearing solutions in north-west Austria. The company is an authorised distributor of Schaeffler and NTN, operates with a team of 10 employees, and generates over €4 million in annual sales, a testament to its solid standing in the local industrial market.

The acquisition allows Rubix to deepen its presence in Austria’s industrial heartland, bringing its broader network capabilities and product portfolio to an established customer base that already benefits from Kugellager Leitner’s technical expertise and regional knowledge.
