It’s emerged a vehicle used to ram a police car in Derry earlier this week was bearing number plates stolen from Donegal.
On Monday afternoon, two police officers escaped injury after their vehicle was rammed by a black Audi A4 in the Galliagh area, causing substantial damage.
A woman and child while not injured, were left badly shaken after being involved in a separate collision with the Audi.
One man has since been arrested and charged.
Police have confirmed that they seized the Audi A4 yesterday and found it to be bearing stolen plates and wind deflectors which were stolen in Donegal on Monday.
