TechSolve, a Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center dedicated to the advancement of manufacturing through technology, presents the premiere MFG Strong Workforce Summit for Southwest Ohio manufacturers. The one-day event brings together key workforce development and community leaders with manufacturers from Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Clermont, Highland, Brown, and Clinton counties. Scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the Duke Energy Center in downtown Cincinnati, the summit includes a keynote address from author and trainer Ryan Jenkins, as well as breakout sessions addressing one of the hottest topics in manufacturing today – the workforce.

Ryan Jenkins, CSP is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, trainer, and author. His latest book is “The Generation Z Guide: The Complete Manual to Understand, Recruit and Lead the Next Generation.” His insights have been featured in Forbes, Fast Company and The Wall Street Journal, and he is co-founder of Sync Learning Experiences – a learning and development consultancy focused on helping workers gain modern skills.
For the morning sessions, attendees break out into groups for sessions on: Strengthening Recruitment and Employee Retention, Addressing the Future of Work & Technology Integration, and Access to Workforce Programing and Funding. After the lunchtime keynote, afternoon sessions focus on networking, county-focused breakout sessions, and an education institution panel discussion. A plated breakfast, box lunch and breaks are included. Tickets are $180 for General Admission, $120 for Ohio manufacturers. Tickets increase to full price on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, and will be $225 for General Admission and $150 for Ohio Manufacturers.
