Homer Marine LLC, a northwestern U.S. marine industry supplier located in Homer, Alaska, has joined the MSHS Group dealer network.

Located in the 38-acre Northern Enterprises Boatyard within the Port of Homer, Homer Marine LLC will begin supplying customers with MSHS Group brands, including FPT Industrial, Baudouin and Alamarin-Jet.

Homer Marine LLC will now sell the MSHS Group engine brands and parts through its newly opened marine supply store, which offers an array of boatbuilding and marine hardware products, especially to mariners who may be building or repairing boats at the nearby Port of Homer “Open Yard” marine repair facility, where owners of both large and small vessels can make their own repairs.

“We’ll be offering our customers an in-store preview of several FPT engines, ranging from 350 hp to 1,000 hp and ready for delivery,” said Homer Marine LLC owner and 30-year veteran boat builder Eric Sloth, who had delayed opening a brick-and-mortar version of his existing e-commerce site because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Homer Marine LLC—formerly Sloth Boats—serves all types of boating needs, including fishing fleets, charter boats and pleasure boats.

“Homer Marine LLC has earned the trust of Alaskans pleasure boaters and marine professionals over the course of more than three decades,” said MSHS Group Director of Sales & Marketing, Randall Nunmaker. “And in tough Alaskan boating conditions, trusting the strength and integrity of your equipment is paramount.”

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, MSHS Group provides an array of marine engine brands and service through a network of representatives throughout North and South America. MSHS Group also sells and services marine turbochargers, waterjets, generators, filtration control systems, compressors, instrumentation and automation. Its experienced, factory-trained staff solve service problems on the work bench and on-site.
