Outer spherical ball bearing is actually a variant of deep groove ball bearing, which is characterized in that the outer diameter surface of its outer ring is spherical and can be matched into the corresponding concave spherical surface of the bearing seat to play the role of centering. Introduction
Although its basic performance should be similar to that of deep groove ball bearing, because this kind of bearing is mostly used in rough machinery, the installation and positioning is not accurate enough, the axis to neutral difference between shaft and seat hole, or the shaft is long and the deflection is large, and the accuracy of the bearing itself is not high enough, and some structures are also rough, the actual performance of this kind of bearing is quite discounted compared with that of deep groove ball bearing of the same specification. For example, the outer spherical ball bearing with jacking screw is applied to the through shaft with poor stiffness and large deflection. The two sides of the bearing are equipped with sealing rings, which can strictly prevent the invasion of dirt. An appropriate amount of lubricant has been filled at the factory. It is not necessary to clean or add lubricant before installation. When the jacking screw on the protruding end of the bearing inner ring is fastened on the shaft, the allowable axial load shall not exceed 20% of the rated dynamic load.
The performance of the outer spherical ball bearing with eccentric sleeve is basically the same as that of the outer spherical bearing with jacking wire, except that the jacking wire is not on the inner ring, but on the eccentric sleeve. The inner hole of the outer spherical ball bearing with conical hole is a conical hole with 1:12 taper, which can be directly installed on the conical shaft, or installed on the shoulder free optical shaft with the help of a tightening bushing, and the bearing clearance can be fine tuned.
Outer spherical bearings are preferred for occasions requiring simple equipment and parts, such as agricultural machinery, transportation system or construction machinery.
It is mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial load dominated by radial load. Generally, it is not suitable to bear the axial load alone. This kind of bearing can be installed with inner ring (with full set of rollers and retainer) and outer ring respectively. This kind of bearing does not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing, and additional axial force will be generated under the appointment of radial load. The axial clearance of this kind of bearing has a great relationship with whether the bearing can work normally. When the axial clearance is too small, the temperature rise is high; When the axial clearance is large, the bearing is easy to be damaged. Therefore, during installation and operation, special attention should be paid to adjusting the axial clearance of the bearing. If necessary, pre interference installation can be carried out to increase the rigidity of the bearing.

Disassembly
390000 series outer spherical bearings fix the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft through the eccentric sleeve, and the hexagon socket screw on the eccentric sleeve plays a fastening role. During maintenance, many operators cannot disassemble this kind of bearing, so it is necessary to introduce the technical points and precautions for disassembling 390000 series outer spherical bearing:

1. First loosen the locking screw on the bearing eccentric sleeve with an Allen wrench, then insert a small iron rod into the counterbore on the top cover eccentric sleeve, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotation direction of the shaft.
2. Loosen the bolts fixing the bearing seat. Remove the bearing together with the bearing seat from the shaft. Note: before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft, loosen the bolts of the bearing seat at the other end of the shaft to avoid damage to the bearings at both ends.

1. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, the fixing pin of the bearing sleeve must be pulled out, the surface of the journal must be polished smooth and clean, and the journal shall be coated with oil for rust prevention and lubrication (the bearing is allowed to rotate slightly on the shaft).
2. Apply lubricating oil on the mating surface of bearing seat and bearing, and install the bearing into the bearing seat. Then put the assembled bearing and bearing seat on the shaft. Push it to the required position for installation.
3. Do not tighten the bolts fixing the bearing seat first, and make the bearing sleeve rotate in the bearing seat. Similarly, install the bearing and seat at the other end of the same shaft, rotate the shaft for several turns, and let the bearing itself automatically align. Then fasten the bearing seat bolts.
4. Install eccentric sleeve. First put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve and tighten it by hand along the rotation direction of the shaft. Then insert or counter the small iron rod into the counterbore on the eccentric sleeve. Knock the small iron rod along the rotation direction of the shaft with a hand hammer to firmly install the eccentric sleeve, and finally lock the Allen screw on the eccentric sleeve.

Outer spherical ball bearings can be divided into three categories according to the cooperation method with the shaft:
1、 The codes of outer spherical ball bearing with jacking wire are: uc200 series (light series), uc300 series (heavy series), and deformation product UB (sb) 200 series. If the application environment is less suitable, uc200 series is usually selected, otherwise uc300 series is selected. Usually, there are two jacking screws on the outer spherical ball bearing, with an included angle of 120 °. Its feature is that when cooperating with the shaft, the jacking screw is used to jack on the shaft, and then play a fixed effect. However, the environmental requirements of its cooperation are necessary, and the oscillation scale is small. This kind of outer spherical ball bearing is widely used in textile machinery, ceramic machinery and other manufacturing industries.
2、 The code of tapered outer spherical ball bearing is uk200 series and uk300 series. The tapered inner hole with the inner diameter of 1:12 of this kind of outer spherical ball bearing should be used in cooperation with the tightening sleeve. The characteristics of this kind of outer spherical ball bearing are: it can accept greater load than the outer spherical ball bearing with jacking wire. Because the inner diameter of the same type of tightening sleeve cooperating with it is smaller than that of the outer spherical ball bearing with jacking wire, for example, the inner diameter of the outer spherical ball bearing uc209 with jacking wire is 45mm, and the diameter of the shaft cooperating with it is 45mm. If it is replaced with the outer spherical ball bearing with taper, only the tightening sleeve with inner diameter of 45mm can be selected, The tapered outer spherical ball bearing cooperating with 45mm tight set sleeve is only uk210 (of course, uk310 can be selected if it fits higher). Therefore, the fit accepted by uk210 is much larger than that of uc209.
3、 The code of outer spherical ball bearing with eccentric sleeve is: uel200 series, uel300 series and sa200 series. The main feature of this kind of outer spherical ball bearing is that the upper end of the bearing has a certain degree of bias, and the bias sleeve with the same degree of bias cooperates with it. This kind of bearing can also be said to be a special bearing. Because it is mainly used in agricultural machinery (harvester, straw returning machine, thresher, etc.), this kind of outer spherical ball bearing is mainly used in the layout with strong jump.
